Dragging Myself into 2008

Sick with a cold/sinus infection that I can't really do anything about, other than tea with honey and nasal saline, I didn't even make it until midnight last night. Truthfully, the only reason I even made it to 11:30 was because I was watching the end of the Clemson/Auburn game. BTW, way to screw up my chance at winning the pool, Clemson! I was counting on you! Of course, after today you can share your burden with Florida and Virginia.

I really can't complain about 2007. I'm back in school, which always makes me happy, and I saw Mason Jennings not once but twice this year. Christmas brought a much-needed supplement to my wardrobe and a boost to my library, and I actually got to see my sister this holiday. We also picked up the soundtrack for I'm Not There, which has two discs of awesome Dylan songs covered by artists like Mason, Iron & Wine, Mark Lanegan, and Jeff Tweedy of Wilco.

2008 is giving me a lot to look forward to also: a bathroom remodel, another semester of new classes, and maybe, if timing and finances permit, a concert or two.

Happy New Year, all!
